Research
Go beyond the headline
Carefully sourced analysis, explainers and primary references, with clear distinctions between research and production adoption.
METHOD BEFORE MOMENTUM
Start with the claim, then inspect the evidence.
Research can test an idea, describe a prototype or measure a defined dataset. It does not automatically establish commercial adoption. A pilot adds operational evidence, while production use needs a live scope, named users and results that can be checked over time.
XRP Online follows the source trail and states what each record can support. Inclusion here is not an endorsement, proof of deployment or a prediction about XRP's price. Interesting work is allowed to remain interesting without being promoted to prophecy.
Research
A paper presents a method and findings within stated limits. Its publication date may differ from the period when the work was performed.
Pilot
A pilot tests an approach in a limited setting. It can reveal practical constraints without proving that a full production system will follow.
Production
A production claim needs evidence of a live service, defined users and continuing operation. Network use and demand for XRP remain separate measurements.
FEATURED RESEARCH / Adoption
BIS Researchers Test XRP Ledger to Verify Official Statistics
A new BIS working paper describes a proof of concept using the XRP Ledger to help verify the origin and integrity of official statistics. We examine how the prototype works, where XRP fits, and why the research should not be confused with a production rollout or a prediction about XRP’s price.

GuideAdoption
Can XRP replace nostro accounts? Follow the liquidity
A bridge asset may change where payment liquidity sits. It does not remove the need for local money, counterparties or a reliable route to the recipient.

What is XRP? The economic case for a bridge asset
Moving value between currencies requires willing buyers, sellers and usable liquidity. XRP offers one route, whose usefulness depends on the whole transaction.

Tokenisation: what changes when an asset becomes a token?
Shared records and programmable transfers may simplify markets. The rights, institutions and settlement arrangements behind a token still determine what it is worth.

Stablecoins: look at the promise behind the token
A token designed to track a dollar still depends on reserves, redemption and operational arrangements. RLUSD provides one example of the questions to ask.
